Now that we’ve tackled what to wear on the interview, let’s move on to your first day…blog_Nina-Garcia-by-STYLEDUMONDELook how happy! Congratulations on getting the job, now it is your job not to eff it up by dressing like an “individual”. There will be time for you to shine. That time is not on your first day. My theory here? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. On your first day, where a slightly more relaxed version of whatever you wore on your interview. Try something you’ve worn before. You’ll be more comfortable in it and you’ll know how to move in it, which will allow you to focus on the task at hand.

Keep the blazer but maybe lose the button-down.blog_tumblr_mlz6br4oUs1qc4ya9o1_1280

A more casual approach to your hair is perfectly acceptable at this point.blog_tumblr_n6yk5ypmeu1qi1c6wo1_500 blog_tumblr_ncb8qwvBOZ1rmfv8to1_r1_500-359x550

Playful interpretations of your blazer are also acceptable. Buttoning not required.
