Now that we’ve tackled what to wear on the interview, let’s move on to your first day…Look how happy! Congratulations on getting the job, now it is your job not to eff it up by dressing like an “individual”. There will be time for you to shine. That time is not on your first day. My theory here? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. On your first day, where a slightly more relaxed version of whatever you wore on your interview. Try something you’ve worn before. You’ll be more comfortable in it and you’ll know how to move in it, which will allow you to focus on the task at hand.
Playful interpretations of your blazer are also acceptable. Buttoning not required.
If you are going to change up your shirt, remember to make sure it still looks professional once you’ve removed your blazer. We’ve all had that hot office that makes our makeup melt into our armpits so be prepared.
